A relaxed-fit women's funnel neck trench in salmon pink, in Block Printed Upcycled Cotton from Jaipur.
A soft colour on a strong shape: high funnel neck, relaxed drape, made to be layered over everything from dresses to denim.
The fabric is Achara, the cotton cloth laid under block-printing tables. Over around a hundred printing runs it soaks up dye tests, colour marks and printers' fingerprints before it is thrown away. We use it as it is, with no patchwork and nothing added, so the marks on this trench belong to it alone.
